Twins Explosion Box

One on my coworkers wife is going to have twins, so we are having a shower later this month for them.  I decided to try my hand at my new Cricut Mini Album explosion box.  First I cut it out with a main layer of yellow, then blue, pink and green.  I also cut out a bunch of cricut cuts some boy and some girls.  Did I mention the twins are one of each?

The papers are from DCWV Nanas Kids.  The ribbon I had on hand.  The cuts are from Kates ABC's (for the girls layer) and Nate's ABC's B is for Boys (for the Boys layer)  I had some  decorative buttons that I used on the inside layer and the sentiment is computer generated.

Mooey Christmas card

I love this stamp set.  This cow is so adorable.  It's from Peachy Keen.  Their challenge this week was a sketch challenge.  I kind of flip flopped the image, but I think it works.  I also put the little cow on an Action Wobble!

This is the inside of the card.

Halloween Wreath

This is my first try at making a rosette wreath.  I saw one on Pink by Design and decided to try one myself.  I think it turned out cute.  I added some Halloween brads and some spiders and bats I had in my stash.  I cut Boo on my Cricut.

I think I'll try some other wreaths for other occassions too.  It's so much fun!

This card is just a cut from Happy Hauntings I wanted to try.  The gate is so creepy.  I made a twilight sky using different inks and stamped a witch flying in front of the moon.  I decided to cut out a little halloween mouse, also from Happy Hauntings.  I put the little mouse on an Action Wobble.

This is an origami box and lid.  I learned how to make this by watching a tutorial by Christina1716.  She has some fabulous videos, if you have a chance take a look.
The base is done by folding paper.  The top is just cut paper and embellishments.  I followed the tutorial step by step, she explains everything so well.

The butterflies are cut from the Sentimentals Cricut cart.  The flowers and leaves are cut from Spellbinders.

This little box can be used for treats, jewelry or any small gift.

Haunted House

I finally tried the haunted house from Happy Hauntings.  Boy, it was more complicated than I thought it would be.  My suggestion is to do it step by step in the book (for the most part).  There were a couple places I had to back track and redo.  The characters are from Peachy Keen and some Halloween character stamps I got in clearance.

I made this to decorate my desk area at work.  I think it turned out cute.

I love the Mickey Mouse cart, all of the cuts are so adorable.  The only problem is some of the pieces are too small.  But that was not the case with little Chip.  I added some pretty autumn ribbon and some falling leaves.

Trick or Treat Elephant

This cute elephant is from the Winnie the Pooh cartridge.  I love him, he is so adorable.  I wrapped him in cheesecloth for his "mummy" Halloween costume (isn't he sooo scary!).  And of course I had to pop him up on an Action Wobble.  The haunted house and fence are both cut from the Mini Monsters cart.  The paper is from DCWV.  His little jack o lantern was cut from my new Teddy Bear Parade cart.  On the inside I stamped Happy Halloween.

Hula Hoop girl

For this card, I cut the little girl from Twinkle Toes, and the hula hoop I made out of two ovals and put one inside the other(on my Gypsy).  I also used Elegant Edges.  Then I made the flower with my Spellbinders.  I love the little flowers they make!  The paper is my new favorite paper pack the colors are so beautiful.  It's DCWV The Chateau Lavendar stack.
I stamped a cute little Peachy Keen face on it.   Added lots of little purple jewels and a sentiment from Pink by Design. Then to top it all off, I put her on an Action Wobble, to give her the true hula hoop action.

Halloween Candle

I was so excited when I got my Peachy Keen stamp order in the mail yesterday.  The challenge at that blog was to make a candle.  I just had to use my new stamp set!

I used a square candle holder and put a lacy border around it then added the cute little Peachy Keen stamps.  Then of course I had to put the cute little witch on an Action Wobble.  I love those springs!

Halloween card using card feature

This is really something I should do more of.  It turns out so cute and it's pretty much a one step process.  I used the Mini Monsters and then just added a couple of little ghosts with Peachy Keen faces.  Easy Peasy!

Messed up rockin birthday card

The challenge for Action Wobbles this week is to take a messed up card and finish it using an Action Wobble.  This cut just didn't seem to turn out right.  The eyes are weird.  Then the sentiment is so hard to see since I embossed on it.  Well I finished it off by making an Elegant Edge cut and put the guy with the weird eyes on it, and it turned out okay.  Not my favorite, but okay.

Christmas window card

For this card the challenge was to use a recycled item.  I had cut up the plastic my Cricut carts come in.  I keep them on hand for various projects.  For this card I used it as the glass in my window.  I cut the stove from Country Life and the tree and window from the Christmas cart.  I had the little heart shaped wreath in my stash.  I popped up the top layer to give it some depth.

I inked around the edges using some Tim Holtz-tea dye.

Croc and Birdie Friends Forever

For this card, I used my brand new Crocs rule cart (got it at Walmart on clearance yesterday).  At first I was going to cut the first croc, but it wasn't quite right.  So I took the birdie off of it and attached it to this other croc.  I think it turned out so cute.

I added a couple of buttons and some ribbon.

Action Wobble Manly card

I have such a hard time making manly cards.  I think this semi qualifies maybe a young manly card?

I used the Camping Critters for this card.  I love the rafting skunk.  I added some clouds from Stand and Salute, bakers twine and I stamped some manly sentiments from Pink by Design:

I had to put this skunk on an Action Wobble, that way he looks like he's white water rafting.

For this card, I used Simply Charmed, cut at 3" and popped up onto an Action Wobble.  I didn't cut the face piece, because I used Peachy Keen Corny Stamps.  The papers are from DCWV the Chateau Lavender stack.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design-Simply Everything.  I inked the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress ink.
